Recommended Builds

GSO 28 Hackless/Homebrew

  • Based on Legacy TE 2.5, and includes the latest UCF version.
  • Includes PMBR/P+ versions of Wario Land, Castle Siege and Metal Cavern
  • Includes a Smash Wageningen original edit of Rumble Falls
  • Updated Castle Siege to new variant
  • Small enough to fit on a 2GB SD Card (Works with Hackless)
  • Various QoL improvements like booting directly into CSS, removed Screen KOs in doubles
  • Includes pre-configured USB Loader GX and cUSB Loader

    • Netplay V2211

  • The launcher has been retired, now used to create shortcuts.
  • Smash CE is no longer included, and will be updated and provided as a seperate build in the future.
  • Includes Premium build for low latency players for the best latency
  • Includes Deluxe build, now updated to use Project Lylat, for medium-high latency players, and for connecting to 3 or more players.
  • Feature parity with recent GSO build improvements.
  • Plenty of new skins, and stages!
  • AppImage for linux users included with the download.

    • Download the Complete version for all three builds, or Slim for just LTE.

    Hackless/Homebrew V2107

  • Based on Legacy TE 2.5, and includes the latest UCF version.
  • Includes PMBR/P+ versions of Wario Land, Metal Cavern, Dreamland ( with the wind removed) and Delfino's Secret
  • Includes a Smash Wageningen original edit of Rumble Falls
  • Fixes the blastzones on Smashville(night) to be the correct size.
  • Small enough to fit on a 2GB SD Card (Works with Hackless)
  • Various QoL improvements like booting directly into CSS, removed Screen KOs in doubles
  • Homebrew/Hackless build has all vanilla stages except for Metroid Lab
  • Includes pre-configured USB Loader GX and cUSB Loader

    Wagabuild v2308 OdieMix Homebrew

  • Special of WagaBuild that includes all of the content of the Netplay build, including alt skins, (page 3) stages and music.
  • Not designed with hackless in mind, may not fit some 2GB SD Cards.

    • Improved launcher; it'll now generate shortcuts that automagically setup and launch builds for your convenience.
    • Fixed an issue causing a black screen when netplaying.
